1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Hanafi Education operates an online Quran and Islamic education website at hanafieducation.com. This policy covers cookies, local storage, tags and similar technologies used on our public website and secure portals. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
This policy is a transparency document, not jurisdiction-specific legal advice. Applicable obligations can depend on where the organisation and visitor are located, the nature of processing, and statutory thresholds. Independent legal review is recommended before production launch.
2. How consent works
Strictly necessary technologies are used to deliver security, authentication, theme preferences and the privacy-choice mechanism. Optional analytics and live-chat technologies are disabled by default and load only after the relevant category is accepted.
- Accept all: enables Google Analytics and HubSpot Chat on public pages.
- Reject optional: leaves both optional categories disabled.
- Customize: lets you enable analytics and live chat separately.
- Global Privacy Control: when supported by your browser and no earlier choice exists, optional technologies are kept off.
- Secure portals: admin, student, teacher, login and registration routes do not load Google Analytics or HubSpot Chat, regardless of the saved public-site choice.

Durations are maximum or typical values and can change if a provider updates its technology, a browser limits cookie life, or you delete browser data sooner.
4. Google Analytics 4
With analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 uses measurement ID G-715MBGHKV7 to measure aggregate use of public pages, such as page views, session activity and general device or browser information. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled in our implementation. We do not send portal page views to Google Analytics.
Google documents that GA4 commonly uses _ga and _ga_<container-id>, with default expiration periods of up to two years. Learn more in Google's GA4 cookie documentation.
5. HubSpot Chat
With live-chat consent, the HubSpot script loads on public pages to provide the chat widget, maintain conversation continuity and associate a visitor with information they voluntarily submit. HubSpot may use cookies including hubspotutk, __hstc, session cookies and chat-state cookies. HubSpot Chat never loads inside the admin, student or teacher portals.
6. Regional information and rights
European Union / EEA
Where EU GDPR and national ePrivacy rules apply, optional analytics and chat technologies are based on consent. You may withdraw consent at any time and may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and complaint to your supervisory authority.

Under UK GDPR and PECR, non-essential storage or access technologies require a clear choice before use. Strictly necessary technologies remain available so requested services, security and authentication can function.

Where PIPEDA or substantially similar provincial laws apply, we provide clear purposes and meaningful choices. Optional tracking can be declined without losing access to the public website or academy portals.

US privacy rights differ by state. Where applicable, residents may have rights to know, access, correct or delete personal information and opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use advertising cookies. We treat Global Privacy Control as a request to keep optional tracking off.

Our educational services may be used by children under parent or guardian supervision. We do not intentionally use optional analytics or chat tracking inside authenticated learner, teacher or administration portals. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural advertising or profiling for children.
8. International processing
Google and HubSpot may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing, retention and transfer safeguards are governed by their terms, privacy documentation and applicable data-transfer mechanisms. Choosing an optional category authorises that category subject to the rights available in your jurisdiction.
9. Managing cookies and contacting us
You can reopen Cookie Settings from the footer at any time. You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking necessary session cookies may prevent secure portal login. Withdrawing consent stops future optional collection; it does not automatically erase information lawfully collected earlier.
